I finally read it
I've purposely been avoiding this book for a long time, So many people have been obsessed for so long with Twilight and the books following, The problem is when I read a good book I can't put it down, and I forget about life and everything around me. Well, I finally gave in. I started it Tuesday afternoon, and read for about 5 hours that day. Then I woke up Wednesday and read for 6 1/2 hours straight, until I was finished. With of course, a few short interruptions like feeding my kids, and changing poopy diapers. My kids were so good to just play with each other all day and it was raining and cold outside, so I just curled up with a blanket and read. I loved the book and can't harldy wait to start "New Moon" I can finally understand everyone's obsession. I'm having a hard time getting Edward and Bella out of my mind. If you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend you do.

You picked a good time to be reading with the weather being cold and miserable. I enjoyed reading all 3...Sounds like you should be able to report on the other two by the end of the holiday weekend:) I'm sure you're anxious to see the movie now!! (I know I am!)
Welcome to the club :) I'm so glad you finally read them. Perfect timing - the 4th comes out August 2 so you will be all ready for it!! When you're done with those you have to read her new book "The Host". It is soooooo good!!
Grrr...I guess I oughta read it too.
So, I guess I don't get it. I read at least a book a week. Everyone has asked me if I have read Twilight yet. I avoided it like the plague just to be defiant. I started reading it two days ago (someone thought I would read it if I was forced to borrow it) and I am having a hard time getting into it. I hope to be able to read into it tomorrow, but right now, it isn't grabbing me yet.
I liked the series, but some of it bothered me. I liked that it hooked me in, but the 2nd and 3rd books just had me upset with the characters -- especially Bella. Grrrrr! Anywho. I'm listening to it with Dallin now, and now I'm rolling my eyes at some of the "steamy" parts. And I'm wondering why I thought it was so good! :)
ha! Can you believe how addicting it is!?!?!
Shelley, I called JD "Edward" for a month after I read that book! :) The movie is coming out soon...
