Maleah has always had super curly hair. However, over the last 2 years or so, it has started going straighter, not to mention the fact that she won't let me diffuse it. I gave up the fight long ago - well Last Sunday she wanted her hair diffused. She could not get over how cute she looked and seriously spent way too long in front of the mirror for a 5 year old. That same day, she re-styled her hair 3 different times because she said it was getting fuzzy. This week she's wanted her hair diffused everyday except one. I love her hair curly and although it's not as curly as it used to be, I'm glad to see there's still some left. I hope she will embrace her curl throughout her life and not fight it.


Here is a picture of how curly Maleah's hair used to be - She was about 3 1/2 here. Oh how I miss those curls.


WIERD CHILD??? I often find Maleah sound asleep at night with a baby doll stuffed up her shirt. Dont ask me???? I can't help but think "Gosh, why torture yourself before you actually have to try and sleep with a baby in your tummy?"

I've never had a baby that loves to play outside as much as Kendra. She will go out in the back yard and just explore and play for hours. I never hear a peep, when she is through she just climbs the stairs and comes to the door to be let in, usually filthy as can be with a few rocks in her mouth :) I don't know what it is with her and putting Dirt, Rocks, Bark or whatever else she can find in her mouth, but she ALWAYS seems to find something.


Maleah had her 1st piano recital tonight. She started piano about 4 months ago and is doing really well. She was so nervous to bow after playing her song. She had her song memorized and perfected for weeks before. She ended up playing a few wrong notes during the recital. On the way home I asked her how she thought she did. She said "Good except the piano went out of tune during the middle of my song, it was really wierd" :) :) :)
