I am so Thankful for my Health. Sometimes it takes not having something to appreciate what you do have. This past week 4 out of 5 of us had the stomach flu. I literally laid in bed for a whole day and night (with the exception of many bathroom trips) I haven't done this for a LONG LONG time. I am so thankful for my healthy body and my healthy kids. I did get to watch Little Rascals and Annie that day, 2 of my favorite childhood movies that I haven't seen forever. Me, Aubree and Kendra all had the flu at the same time so we just watched movies and slept ALL day.
Some other things I'm grateful for are:
~Healthy Hands that don't hurt....my fingertips always crack really bad in the winter time, to where I can't untie shoes, button up anything, or unbuckle car seats. I am so grateful on a day like today when my fingers don't hurt. You don't realize how important your hands are until you can't use them normally.
~Teeth that don't hurt.....last winter I went to the dentist and the lady really did a number on my teeth. It was just a cleaning, but man did she clean them hard. This was last December and my teeth hurt for 4 months afterwards. I couldn't open my mouth when I was outside because it would just kill. She must have damaged some nerves or something. This winter I haven't had any problems yet, but I'm due for my 6 month cleaning here in a couple of weeks. I've decided to postpone it until March so I don't have to deal with super sensitive teeth all winter.
~Last but NOT least.....A Clear Face!!! And this I RARELY have!! I have suffered with acne pretty bad since after I had Kendra. I've finally found some things that are helping to clear up my face, but there are days that I just cry about it. I know this sounds stupid but unless you've suffered from acne you don't realize #1 How hard it is on your Self Confidence (there are days I don't want to leave my house or see a soul) #2 IT HURTS!!! and #3 It leaves scars that I will have to live with my whole life. I am SO THANKFUL for days like today when my face doesn't hurt and I only have 2 or 3 zits. I have a new love and deep sympathy for acne sufferers and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
~What kinds of things are you especially grateful for when it comes to your Health and Body?

Great family photos!
So sorry that you guys have been feeling sick. Yuck. At least you got some good movie time in.
Two note worthy items:
#1-I too experience the dry cracked hands. Ouch.
#2-You should consider a new dentist. It seems like a cleaning shouldn't be that painful?!
Hey!
The new blog look is awesome! It's great to see all the pics of your adorable girls.
Hopefully you have a happy (and healthy) holiday with the fam!! I sure wish we were in Wyoming together . . . maybe in the future.
Sheeelll!!
First of all- You are BEAUTIFUL. I have never noticed any problems with your skin. Hello!?! look at the pic on your blog lady! So sorry about your hands and teeth. I too have had a crazy cleaning lady in my day. Don't they floss their own teeth? Geez!
Yay for watching childhood videos- sorry that you were all so sick. There is nothing like being sick or having a sick kiddo.
OK- I am sooo grateful that I haven't been really sick this year- that just might throw me over the edge!! ;-)
I am also very grateful for our donor family, doctors, technology, and scientific breakthroughs, that have made it possible for me to have my sweet little girl.
I am also grateful for wonderful friends like YOU!! I can't believe you sent Mia that quilt. You won it fair and square. Whitney sent me a letter with the quilt and the comment you left on her blog. You are so wonderful and amazing and have done so much for me and Mia this year.
Thank you so much!!
Love you!
I was greatful for Yaz (yes birth control) for the simple reason that breakouts were non-existant. Unfortunately, when I quit (for reasons that do not need explaining) I started to get one or two zits here and there. Now that I have been off for six months, I have one or two constantly.
I am thankful for the gift of family, friends and wonderful memories with both. Thanks for the memories. Let me know when you will be in Heber this next week. I think Erin is coming home and Amie has mentioned getting together.
Thanks for finding the "stick" entertaining. I can't wait to get it out of here!
I too appreciate good health. That is so awful about your teeth. It made mine hurt just reading about it! I hope you turned her in! And as far as the acne goes, I would have had NO IDEA that this is something you have been dealing with. I think you have beautiful skin, and have never noticed scars. And don't worry EVERYBODY gets zits. But I know how it is when you have them, you feel like the only one in the world that has got them, and that everyone is staring at you. Glad you have found something that is working! I still think your goregous!
