Here we are trying to figure out what happened and how bad it was, notice the blood all over the floor.
We took her to the instacare near our house and
She had to get both her big toenail and 2nd toenail stitched back on, they were completley removed at the base of the toenail, she also had to get a gash on the side of her big toe stitched up.
After she got the numbing shot she was a happy camper
Here it is all stitched up. I think it was 9 stitches total. The goop is neosporin.
After she got stitched up they had to do an x-ray
And sure enough her Big toe was broken. She has to wear this special shoe until halloween. She sure was a trooper and hardly complains.

Wow!!! Ouchie! She is a good sport. M had something fall on his toe when he was 13-14 mo. and the toenail came off - they just let it and another one grew back in. I wonder what the difference was. He also had a lot of blood but luckily no broken bones or stitches! Poor baby. And it's so weird still to see you being the mom. I swear we are still too young to be the ones worrying about these things!
I am so sorry she got hurt. I keep going back to see her cute little toes and I just feel so bad. Did she get any ice cream?
Who new a bench could be so harmful? Out of your kids Aubree would be the one who handled it the best. She looks so happy with that little shoe.
OH MY GOODNESS!!!! That looks SO painful! Yikes! I want a bench with my new kitchen table, but who knew it could cause such a bad injury! Poor little girl! I hope she is doing okay!
and I love that someone thought to grab a camera and proceed to take pictures during all the chaos! Good thinking!
Holy Crap!!! That looks horrible! It make me a little sick just looking at it.
You are good to get play by play pictures. I never have my camera that handy.
Oh pobrecita!!
Those little toesies... they look surprisingly good post stitches.
That stinkin bench! It should be burned! totally joking.
I love her fancy shoe!! I always wanted to break something so I could have a crutch or a keepsake cast- I know it's weird!
Hopefully she will be healed up in no time!
Poor thing! That just SOUNDS like it hurts. I hope she gets feeling better soon :0)
