Small Update

I don't have time for the motherload of pictures from Disneyland yet, those will come soon. But I just have some thoughts in my mind that I want to write down.

We've gone from bad to worse with Maleah's sleep problem. The girl hasn't slept in her bed through the night for 2 months now. Saturday night Kent and I decided it was time to nip this bad habit. We told her that she couldn't sleep by the side of our bed anymore. We told her the consequences if she came out. We thought she'd do ok, knowing what the consequences were, but no such luck...she got up 12 times between 8:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Most of the time we could tell she had been asleep and just woke up for some reason or another. After several crying fits, locking her door, having to remove Aubree from the room, and none of us getting any sleep, we finally gave in and let her sleep by the side of our bed at 2:30 a.m. Sunday night, we didn't want to have another horrible nights sleep. She came out 8 times from 8:00p.m. until 12:39 a.m. and at that point we were finally in bed for the night and just let her sneak in and sleep on our floor. We are beginning to wonder if something is really wrong with her. It's not about the bad dreams anymore. She's always got a different excuse.....tummy ache, too hot, too cold, bad dream, and so on. The point is, she keeps waking up and it's not normal. We may be taking her to the Dr. soon.

On a lighter note, Aubree told me yesterday that she's never gonna have a baby. I asked her why and she said really casually. " Cause I've watched those baby stories on tv and I know it hurts really bad" I can't decide if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
