Our poor kids have been neglected as we work in the yard. Kent comes home from work at 5:15, we eat dinner, and then go straight out to work in the yard until dark. Our kids are left to themselves for 3-4 hours to do whatever they darn well please. They have been having a ball, riding bikes, playing outside, and destroying my house inside. Their bedtime has also gone from from 7:30 to 9:30 or 10:00 (or whenever we quit working) they are loving life!! This particular night we came in at 9:30
ish to find all 3 girls (and a couple neighbor kids) eating a bowl of cereal. Kendra was having a
sippy cup of cereal mixed with water and ice.

The good news for us is that we got hydro-seed last Friday so there's no more late nights in the yard (until we start our flower beds and garden). The bad news for the kids is that their bedtime is now 7:30 again. Poor things!!

That is so cute! She looks so adorable. Oh to be a kid and get away with that kind of stuff again.
I've decided kids actually LIKE being neglected in this kind of way! They are in heaven being able to eat what they want, wear what they want, and go to bed super late after mom and dad are done working. They wouldn't call it neglect they would call it HEAVEN! :)
