Will this ever get easier? I wish I could just spill my guts to the whole entire world, exactly how I feel. But sadly, only my journal gets my true feelings. All I want is 2 parents that love each other, and a home to go home to for the holidays. I want my regular old traditions back! Divorce screws up everything.
If your marriage sucks then fix it. Don't get divorced.

Divorce does suck! And you know what sucks even worse? Being a KID stuck in the middle! I don't care how young or old you are when your parents divorce, it just sucks period. It changes EVERYTHING.
I too, think about all of you often. It does get easier, but it also takes a LONG TIME to get to a good place.

I am so sorry that you are having to deal with this. Thank you for your blunt advice...it seems divorce is way too acceptable nowadays.
We are taking a marriage class in the ward and I think every ward needs to start teaching the class. We actually talked about divorce tonight and how damaging it is. My kids actually have 4 sets of Great Grandparents (on my side) because of it and are soo confused. Let me know if you ever want to talk. Hang in there.
We actually just finished up our ward's marraige & family class. It was taught by a divorcee - WHAT?!
Plus, she would conveniently pass over any of the touchy topics. Very frustrating.

I married into all of the complications- it takes patients and sensitivity for sure, but it's ok to shout out that it sucks from time to time... because it does!!
