Call me crazy

I did it!  I braved Seven Peaks.  We have the Pass of all passes, like everyone else in Utah County, and I bought them before I was even pregnant with Carson.  We have definitely gotten our money's worth just by going to Liberty Land in Lehi for the past 9 months, but the kids were dying to go to Seven Peaks, and I just didn't know how I would manage it with a newborn.  My Sister in law was in town and she was going with her kids and so I figured it would be a good first time to go.  I was seriously so nervous and dreading it, but it turned out to be really fun and wasn't that hard.  I held Carson for pretty much the whole 6 hours we were there.  My back was killing me by the end of the day.  I basically just followed Kendra around and waded in the water while she played, It was nice to have adult company and I ran into several friends so it was fun to visit with them while the kids played.  Maleah, her friend and Aubree would go down the big slides together and then just check in with me after. It worked out nicely.  Carson was easy.  He slept all day long in my arms.  It was a good excuse to hold him all day. The kids had a blast, I survived and enjoyed myself. I think we will brave it again.

Little Buddy just chillin at a waterpark at only 7 weeks old.  I put Aubree's swim shirt on him for the day.

The four year olds. Kendra, Brooklyn, and Matthew

Towards the end of the day Kendra was EXHAUSTED.  She just wanted to sit under the umbrella and suck her thumb.

How old is my Daughter?  Oh ya, 8!  I would have thought she was a teenager the way they floated down the lazy river just chillin.
I didn't realize how exhausting taking 5 kids to seven peaks would be, not to mention spending the whole day in the sun.  It took me a day or two to recover.  I was so tired.
