Back to Bethlehem

For our ward Christmas party this year we had a "Back to Bethlehem" night.  I was on the committee and was put in charge of all the food.  It was SO much work.  I spent all week shopping, delivering and cooking food.  Then spent Friday night at the church setting up and Saturday all day (12 hours) at the church setting up and taking down.  I so wish I would have taken my camera.  It was AMAZING to say the least.  We had the gym set up as a market in Bethlehem, it felt and looked just like it. Well I've never been to Bethlehem, but that's how I would imagine it.  We had Roman soldiers and all.  Everyone dressed up.  Poor Kent was a single Dad all day and had to make costumes for everyone too.  When he showed up at the party with all the kids in costumes plus himself, I fell in love with him all over again.  He's the best!  He got an old sheet and made costumes for all the girls out of it.  I love him for that!  They had a backdrop set up for picture taking that our 13 year old neighbor girl painted.
