Aubree's 7th Birthday

Aubree's 7th Birthday was a 3 day long celebration.  On her actual Birthday she wanted to open presents first thing (surprise surprise).  It was a Saturday morning and Kent and I were really hoping to sleep in a little but had no such luck.  At 7 am she brought all her presents in our room and everyone gathered around our bed while she opened presents.

Aubree loves to play the guitar any chance she gets. Now she has one of her own. 

I attempted to make a cute cake.....I should really leave the cute cake making up to the professionals...aka Amber.  It turned out ok, but my kids and husband made fun of me because I really struggled with it and had to scrape off multiple flowers before it looked ok.  We all agreed it would be more fitting for a 90 year old grandma's birthday cake.  It was yummy though and that's what counts. (Amber what am I going to do when you up and move across the country?)

Aubree is a super sweet girl.  She is my best helper and I would say most days she is my easiest child.

We decided to start the every other year for friend Birthday parties.  This year is our off year so the day before Aubree's birthday, Kent and I took Aubree and one friend to McDonalds for Dinner and then to the mall for build a bear.

They had so much fun.  I did too.  I love build a bear. 

After the mall we came home and watched a movie and had a late night.  I would say she is one spoiled little girl.  

On Aubree's Birthday we went to Chuck E Cheese.  Shayla and my Mom joined us. 

We love our big little 7 year old.  Aubree is sweet and mellow, but has her feisty moments too.  She is a good friend and a good sister.  She is a great helper with Carson.  She does well in school.  She loves soccer, dance, playing outside, reading, playing with friends and chasing boys at recess.  She is easy to please.
