Sea World

The last 2 days of our trip were spent at Seaworld. This was Kent's 1st visit and the kids 1st visit to Seaworld. I hadn't been since I was 17ish. It was so much fun. I personally like Seaworld better then Disneyland. My kids said the same thing. The shows are so much fun, they have great rides and so much to see and do. The weather was a perfect 70 degrees and the crowds were minimal.

Watching the Shamu Show

All my girls bought little tri fold holders for smashed pennies at Disneyland. Every machine we saw they had to stop. They collected them through out Disneyland and Seaworld.

Elmo and Grover

Kendra was chillin by herself on the very top row watching the show.

Carson Loved Elmo

And Grover

This is just a random picture of Carson climbing in the fridge in our hotel room :)

Our 3 girls!

It is so fascinating to watch these whales swim.

Kendra asked one of the employees if she could take a star fish home. She told them she would pay them $4.00...No such luck.

Happy Boy

Checking out the turtles. Another fascinating creature.

They had the greatest little kid area that Carson could crawl around in and play. He loved it!

The kids played darts to win pink Shamu's

They called this Polar art. Basically it was just coloring pictures of Polar Bears and learning about them, but my kids did not want to leave.

Maleah sitting in a polar bear cave. I have a picture of me doing this when I was a teenager. It's about my only memory from Seaworld.

Beluga Whales. We were able to watch the trainers train them and feed them. It was really cool.

The ride "Journey to Atlantis" was such a fun ride. It splashed the spectators and Aubree and Kendra decided to get wet.

The Spooky Shark Exhibit

And the ride home. The kids traveled so well. On the way down we broke up the trip and stayed in Vegas one night. On the way home we did the drive from San Diego to home in one day. We were in the car from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. with several breaks. We stopped in Vegas for lunch, Cedar City to visit my brother, Payson to visit Kent's parents and a few pitstops on the side of the road.

The kids were entertained with their electronics. It was a fairly quiet ride because they all had headphones on. Carson ate a lot of cheerios and crackers to keep him entertained. He didn't sleep much, but did really well traveling. Kent and I just talked and talked. We didn't even read a book or listen to music. It was fun!

I don't even know what to say. I'm slightly offended that your family likes Sea World more than Disneyland. I could cry:-) jk,

Looks like a fun trip! That one of Carson smiling with Elmo is soooo cute! (hmmm...1st birthday party theme maybe?)

That is pretty funny that you got a boy and we finally got a girl on our 4th time around. :) Awesome!

I so agree with you and the girls. Sea World trumps Disneyland! Carson is such a little cutie and I love how Kendra was just up enjoying the show by herself. Too funny. Looks like so much fun....oh how I miss watching the fireworks from Sea World every night from my house.
