All about Carson - 12 months old

I can't believe it's been a year since Carson was born.  I have to say I'm happy to have a healthy, happy, feisty, mess making 1 year old on my hands versus a year ago having a sick baby in need of a blood transfusion, photo therapy lights, and oxygen to keep him alive.  I love this little dude so much.  Recently he has turned into quite the feisty little thing with a high pitched scream and being very vocal about his likes and dislikes.    He is not scared to be held by anyone although he prefers his Mommy, but is fine to be held by strangers.  He is super happy and easygoing. 

Things about Carson

Bedtime: 8:00 p.m.

Wake time: 8:00 a.m

Nap times:  10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. (both naps approx. 2 hours long)

Favorite foods:  This kid will eat anything.  Baby food favorites are:  apples and carrots, pears and squash, fruit and oatmeal and sweet potatoes.  Other foods he eats regularly:  watermelon, strawberries, black beans, vanilla yogurt, raisins, tomatoes, green peppers, cucumbers, cheerios, string cheese, cottage cheese, toast,  peas, crackers and any food we are eating for meals.  He will eat just about anything.

He loves to:   be around people, play with his sisters, play in dirt, dig in garbage cans, eat anything he finds on the ground, empty drawers, shred paper, tear pages out of books and magazines, be held by Mom, climb the stairs, go on walks in stroller, play on the tramp, go on bike rides, nurse, take baths and swing.

His days are spent: exploring the house and making messes, playing with toys, climbing the stairs, running errands with Mom, playing outside, being mauled by his sisters, napping and eating.

Dislikes: getting his diaper changed, getting dressed, getting buckled in his car seat, being hungry
