Denver Zoo

We went to Denver in July for a summer vacation.  My brother Brian and his family live there and we have never taken the kids there, so we thought it would be fun to go visit them and do some fun things in Denver.  We stayed in a Marriott, Residence inn in Westminster, Colorado which was about 15 minutes away from Brian and Jamilyn's house.  The kids had so much fun with their cousins.  We did a lot of fun things and had a really good time, we did not want to come home even after being there for 7 days, there is so much to do there that we really could have stayed another week or so.

We went to the Denver Zoo.  Jamilyn babysat Carson and we took Brinley and Matt with us.  Carson is at such a hard age to do anything with because he needs 2 naps a day and doesn't nap well in a stroller which makes for a grumpy baby, so it was a nice trade :)

This was my favorite exhibit.  The apes are so intriguing and there was a baby ape too.  He was staring Kendra down. 

This is how the kids kids felt when we were done :)  It's a big zoo and a lot of walking!
