Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day Fun!

A few families from our ward reserved some camp spots up at mutual dell over labor day weekend.  We did the zip line and all the usual camping fun.

My little explorer was filthy as normal. 

Kendra and McKay had a blast exploring together and collecting things in a Doritos bag. 

The families that went were:

Lee Family, Davis Family, Schnell Family, Quist Family, Bean Family, Sparks Family, Hemming Family, Gibson Family.  Some stayed the night, others went home.  We stayed til midnight, drove home and slept in our tent trailer in our driveway and headed back up at 8 a.m.  We should have just taken our trailer up with us, but didn't know that was an option until we got there.

We came home from mutual dell on Saturday.  Then Sunday after church we took our tent trailer out to Payson and camped in front of Grandma and Grandpa Eggett's house.  It was the worst nights sleep EVER!  Carson did not do well in the trailer with all of us so he ended up in my sleeping bag all night....miserable is an understatement. 

We went to the band concert  Sunday night, then to the parade Monday morning.

This is how Carson sucks his thumb, he does it all the time.  I think he must be kind of holding his hand up with his other hand or something. 

After the parade we went back to Grandma Eggett's and had lunch.  Then we headed to Timberlakes to the cabin for some ziplining, fourwheelin fun with Grandpa and Katie and the Nettesheims.

It was a busy busy weekend, with lots of packing and unpacking, coming and going.  It's exhausting being a Mommy and having a weekend like that.  The memories are worth it though.
