New Pillows

Our couches came with really ugly pillows.  I decided to make them cute.

Check out these beauties.  I am so proud these.  I wish I could make 100 more just because there is so much cute fabric out there.  I was inspired because we just bought a new entertainment center.  It is dark brown like our couches.  I was thinking that our family room needed more color. So I sewed 7 slipcover pillow cases for the pillows.  However, after about 1 week of having all the new and improved pillows on the couches I couldn't take it anymore.   They were always on the floor and causing clutter so I took them all down stairs and they sit on our couches in the basement looking very pretty.  I just like simplicity and the pillows were complicating my life.  Maybe when all my kids are raised I will have pretty pillows on my couches.  Ughh.....I don't even like the thought of that, I will take the kids any day over perfectly placed pillows.
