We spent the first weekend in January 2013 at the Cabin. Oh how I miss the cabin. I have so many great memories at this cabin. Since my parents divorce my Dad now rents out the cabin so that he is able to afford to keep it. So it's not available very often. We usually make it up twice a year, but sometimes it's just a day trip. It was nice to go and spend a couple days up there, just like old times.
This is Kendra. I love this picture, she looks so happy!
The kids had a blast on the zip line
We scored because the previous renters had built a big snow cave as well as a packed down sledding hill with different tracks and even stairs to go up.
Maleah and Caitlin trying to sled down the hill together but crashed
Digging out the snowmobiles. Look at those blue skies. It's so beautiful up there.

Shay and Sam. I set these guys up a few weeks before this cabin trip, I met Sam at a real estate Christmas party we went to. I showed him pics of my cute sis and he called her the next day. They've been dating ever since. We shall see how it all works out. Shayla was/is planning on going on a mission. But now she's all torn up and doesn't know what to do. Time will tell. I just can't believe I'm a match maker :)
We were laughing at Sam's outfit.....love the green sparkly helmet and the purple neck warmer.
Oh and just for the record, they had their first kiss on this night, January 5th.
The adorable newly weds. You know that awkward moment when you see newlyweds for the first time after their honey moon? Let's just say I like to crack jokes. I love them.
Joni and Jared
we were making fun of Joni's outfit too, she was wearing my Moms old old coat.

This will be a cabin trip I will never forget. All my siblings were there except Derek who is in Cedar with a new baby. We stayed up til 3 a.m. and talked, laughed and cried together. We reminisced, shared our sadness, gave each other therapy and so on. It was so much fun. I feel truly blessed to have such awesome brothers and sisters. My Mom and Dad raised some really great kids and I'm glad that we are a close family. I feel grateful that our kids get these memories together at the cabin. It will never be like it used to be without my Mommy there but we will make the most of what we have now. I'm grateful to a Dad who loves me, sets a good example to me of perserverance and dedication to the gospel. I'm grateful he works hard so that we can go enjoy time at the cabin.
