Kendra has a little playgroup 4 days a week, for about an hour before kindergarten. Just enough time to play for a bit and eat lunch. We have playgroup at our house once a week. Kendra asked if they could build things, which she often does and I told her yes. To my surprise I came into the kitchen to find a factory going on. They had Kent's power drill, hammer, wood, sharpies, screws, and even face masks because you know you have to protect your face when you screw things. Carson thought he would join the fun and un-organize my desk :)

It's all about team work.....oh and face masks

That same day after school I caught Kendra and Lily sitting on my porch carving dead tree branches with pocket knives. Who needs dolls when you have pocket knives and power tools.
Much to our dismay, Kent later found they had carved big chunks out of the trunk of one of our trees too. I hope it survives.
