Spring Break - April 2013

Spring Break was a blast.  We headed to St. George for 5 days.
We colored eggs for FHE while we were down there.

The kids swam every day for hours.  They had fun with their cousins.

We played a mean game of keep away in the pool one day.  It was adults against kids and by kids I mean mostly boys.  My 12 and 13 year old nephews were hanging all over Kent trying to get the ball and this is what Kent's arms looked like by that night.  Sad huh?

One of the days we drove to Zions.  It was my kids' first time.

We went with the Nettesheims.  This is all the kids except Carson.  He doesn't like to cooperate for pictures.

All of my girls got their Junior Ranger badge.  They had to do different activities while we were at Zions and learn about everything around them and then at the end they had to do a pledge and they were presented with a badge.

Waiting for the bus.  Zions is cool because they have buses that you hop on and off at anytime you want. There are no cars allowed.  My kids thought that was pretty cool to ride the bus.

Carson loved the water and the mud

The little hike up to weeping rock was pretty steep.  Carson insisted on walking the entire way.  This was even at like 4:00 p.m. at the end of a very long day with no nap.  I was so impressed with him.

At the end of the day, after a steep walk, my kids faces say it all :)

Like Father like Son
This is my favorite spot at the pool.  I truly find so much joy just lounging by the pool watching my kids have the time of their lives in the pool.  They are such fish.
