Kendra turns 6

My little baby girl turned 6 in June.  It's hard to believe that she was just 2 years old (exactly Carson's age right now) when we moved to Highland.  My how time flies.  She seems older than 6 to me.  She's tall for her age and I think having 2 older sisters makes her seem older because she does everything that they do.

We had a Water Party this year for her Birthday party.
I love this picture of her.  She just looks so happy and content to be alive.

She has some super cute little friends, although 2 of her very best friends couldn't make it to the party :(

We played all kinds of water games.  Including "THE water game" that we always played for FHE when I was growing up.

We had a horsey piñata

To open her presents she had to guess who was saying happy birthday in a disguised voice.

The whole crew eating ice cream!

On her actual Birthday we went out to dinner as a family and then she chose the Nickel Cade of course as her birthday activity.  She loves that place.  All 3 of my girls ALWAYS choose the nickel cade for their Birthday activity.  The other day Kendra was  begging to go again and she said "but Mom it's just so addicting"  I think we might have a gambler on our hands if we aren't careful.

Here is Max and Ruby opening up her presents.  These two remind me so much of the cartoon show, Max and Ruby.  Kendra is such a patient big sister and they just have such a cute little friendship.  She's always trying to keep Carson out of trouble.  She let him help open up all her presents.  What a sweet big sister.

Kendra claimed for months before her Birthday that all she needed was a DS.  This persistent little girl spends countless hours laying on the floor, sucking her thumb and complaining that she is bored.  She talked about the DS for months, and every time she was complaining that she was bored, she would say "If I had a DS I would never tell you I'm bored again"  She is the most bored little girl I've ever met.  She needs to be doing something ALL THE TIME or she's bored out of her mind.  She knew that a DS was expensive and she was willing to only get one present if she could get a DS.  The girl did not waiver.  Not one bit on what she wanted for her Birthday.   It's been almost a month now since she got it and she has hardly played it :)  Such is life!  She was pretty stoked that she finally got her DS though.  Now she says that for Christmas she needs a Drum Set and a BB gun.  She kills me.
Happy Birthday to our cute Kendra bug.  We sure love you!
