Carson loves to play! He has some cute little friends.
This is Carson and Molly enjoying a cupcake at The Cocoa Bean in Provo. Me and Molly's Mom, Brooke get together often for shopping and lunch. These 2 get to tag along with us. This was a day after we had gone to seven peaks with all the kiddos.
One afternoon I was out talking to my neighbor in front of her house. These 3 (Carson, Staeli & Avery) were playing in the driveway while we talked. They all disappeared for about 2 minutes and we walked around back to look for them, only to find all 3 of them butt naked in the pool. It was super funny. Carson was beyond thrilled to be swimming naked. Must feel good.
These two are going to have SO many pictures together. Boston and Carson are 3 months apart and best buddies. They pal around together outside almost every day. They get into mischief, get lost together, steal popscicles, etc... we have to watch them very close. I hope they continue to be best buds. It's so fun to watch them interact as 2 year olds.
Scary Story:
One of the first days after school got out for summer, all the kids were playing outside. I was out there watching Carson and the phone rang. It was a lady in my ward who I needed to talk to about music and it was kind of windy outside, so I walked inside to talk to her assuming that all the older kids outside would keep an eye on the little boys. Stephanie (Boston's Mom) was inside feeding her baby and assuming her kids were watching Boston. We live in a very deep and quiet culdesac so our kids can run free (except for 2 year olds) Well 20 minutes later I was still on the phone and my kids came in to tell me there was some people at our back door with Boston and Carson. It turns out, the two of them had wandered off together and were found down the street out on a main road. Carson was playing with a snake. So they knocked on the closest house which happened to be an older couple's house in our ward. She walked them back to my house (along with the strangers who had found them). I felt like Super Mom, let me tell you. They were looking at me in disbelief. Stephanie still didn't even know Boston was missing :). We joke about it now that we get the "Mother of the Year" awards. We have since learned we cannot trust our older kids to watch them. They move fast and are very sneaky. Some nick names we've given them are: Partners in crime, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, Dumb and Dumber. They are always getting into trouble in typical 2 year old style.
