Cupcake Sale

My little business woman/child decided to do a cupcake sale this summer.  She enlisted the help of her Cousin Caitlin and they spent the day making and selling cupcakes.  They made pink lemonade and red velvet cupcakes.  Then they walked door to door all throughout our neighborhood selling them for $1.50 a piece or 5 for $5.00   They made $59.00 before supplies and $51.00 after they paid me for supplies.  As a mother I usually hate it when Maleah comes up with ideas to make money, but I do think it's good for her and if anything it teaches her that money is hard to earn and doesn't grow on trees.  After paying me for supplies, splitting the $51.00 in half with her cousin, then paying her tithing and college and mission fund, she was left with about $15.00.  It's good for her to realize that money doesn't come easy and you have to work hard for it.
