Hobbitville

If I didn't know better, I might think my Dad and Katie have gone COO COO!  But I know better, and I know that they just really love their little cottage bungalow in the trees and they love doing quirky things together.  This summer they built a Hobbit House in their back yard.  They even laid sod on the roof.  They were so excited for the kids to come take the hobbit tour.

This was at the end of the trail, where they found trolls in a jar that they got to adopt.

Here is the hobbit house

Why yes, you can even go inside

Brinley and Aubree made a bed for their trolls to sleep in, and put them in a nightstand drawer

They made clothes out of toilet paper for them

Here is the adopt a troll jar and sign

Oh and this is the Dog House that is right next to the hobbit house
This will probably go down as one of the quirkiest things my Dad and Katie have done.  Quirky and funny!  I'm sure there will be stories at their funeral about this :)  The kids loved it though and will always remember the day they got to adopt a troll.
