Aubree turns 9

This little cutie turned 9.  I really can't believe she's 9 years old.  That sounds so old, and she seems too little.

The day before her birthday was Presidents day and the kids were out of school, so we told Aubree she could plan the day.

First we went to Hang Time in Orem

Then we went to Nickel City 

And for dinner we went to Texas Roadhouse 

The next morning was her Birthday and she woke up to balloons and wrapped presents 

(Carson and his friend unwrapped every single present while she was at school, so I had to re-wrap them all)

She opened a couple presents before school.  Here she is in her new shoes and new pants.

  She loves new clothes.

We checked her out for lunch and met Dad at Zupas (her choice and a girl after my own heart) 

That night she opened the rest of her gifts.  She got another re born baby doll.  I wish I would have captured her surprise face on camera.  She wasn't expecting that at all.  She also got a ripstik which she has since learned how to ride like a pro and spent atleast 100 + hours outside riding it with her friend Grayson. 

Maleah made her a duct tape wallet and put $3 inside.  So thoughtful. 

Later in the month we celebrated at Grandma K's house

A little bit about Aubree

She loves babies.  She is drawn to real babies, and loves to help and play with them.  The 10 days that we babysat Cameron in January were heaven for her.  She was my best helper.  She also loves her reborn baby dolls.  They have more clothes than she does. She uses all of Carson's baby clothes, plus she spends her own money on new clothes for them.  They have special beds in her room, real car seats, and she takes them places with her. She has a great time playing house with her friends Taryn and Katelyn who also have reborn baby dolls.  

Aubree loves her friends.  She is so good about getting her jobs, practicing and homework done either first thing in the morning or right after school, so that she can play with friends.  Her and Grayson Davis play all the time.  They love to ripstik and play outside together. If she's not with Grayson, she's playing babies with Taryn and Katelyn or with some other friend.   

Aubree has a tender heart.  She came downstairs at 10:30 p.m. on her birthday and she was crying.  She said she couldn't sleep because she keeps having these feelings.  She said she felt bad that she was mean to her sisters.  Earlier that day she wouldn't let Kendra play with her new Lego game on the Wii and Kendra had been sad about it.  Aubree had been laying in bed feeling bad.  She is such a sweet person and I will catch her getting teary eyed when she's touched by something or feeling the spirit.  Aubree is an awesome soccer player.  She's getting good on the piano and is currently taking gymnastics which she loves.  However, she would much rather just be playing with friends.  Aubree is my little fashionista.  She'd much rather buy clothes than toys and she loves to look cute.  We love you Aubree!
