Our December was jam packed full of Christmas parties, activities and traditions. Here's a few things we did.
Putting up the Christmas tree.
Carson 3 1/2 years old
Aubree - 9
Aubree had a piano recital at a care center where she accompanied all of us in singing Silent Night. She did an excellent job under pressure!
The kids have been taking lots of baths lately. This one was a hair fixing train.
My Mom and Brian took Aubree, Brinley and Matt to temple square and to visit Grandma Wall.
We love it when Brian and Jami come to visit. Brinley and Aubree are such good friends and they can't get enough of each other when she's here.
One Sunday Carson packed a small backpack for church. I didn't look inside and assumed he had a couple books and maybe a train or something. But when we got to church this is what we saw. He had my beaters and whisks and a flashlight and all the dogs from our game Walk the Dogs, and who knows what else. Funny boy.
Carson pulled out the 9/11 memorial book we have and he was so concerned with all the pictures.
Aubree loves to play dress up with her little brother and make him all handsome.
My friend Mimi did a tree for Mia this year for the festival of trees. It was a "chock-it" tree because Mia loved chocolate. My Mom donated a ton of Mrs. Cavanaughs chocolates for the tree. It's hard to see it but there is all kinds of chocolate on the tree.
We had a girls night out and went to the festival of trees.
Decorating a gingerbread village.
My Mom took the girls to the Muppets and Mormon Tabernacle choir concert. They said it was amazing.
We discovered the puppy barn in December. It's a new place that has lots of puppies that you can just go hold anytime. It's the best. We've been there atleast 6 times. Sometimes you just need your puppy fix.
I'm glad we took advantage of the snow when it was here because we have had almost no snow this winter. We managed to go sledding a few times though.
My girls love their babies. It's kind of become a trend in our ward for the girls to get these real looking babies for Christmas or Birthdays. It's fun because they all play house together.
Kendra and Sarah are best buddies. They play almost every day together.
This is not a doll. Aubree is a baby magnet. Here she is playing video games while holding a sleeping baby. She's already mastering the art of multi-tasking. She is such a baby lover. She keeps telling me that if I have another baby she will never play with friends again. She will just sit and hold the baby.
For our ward Christmas party this year we went to temple square. They had a contest to see who could post the best pictures on social media with the hash tag #luvmywf
Needless to say I took way too many pictures. The kids had fun walking around with all their friends.

Toby got his first professional grooming. He looked like a different dog. I gave him his first 3 haircuts and I finally decided it wasn't worth it. We almost sold Toby in December. He has chewed 2 cabinet corners (sharpened them like pencils) He put a hole in our carpet, he chewed 2 barstools and numerous toys and shoes. One day I had just had it and decided to list him on KSL. I had about 30 families that wanted him. I narrowed it down to 3 families. I listed him for $800 and one lady offered to bring me $900 cash right then. It made me sad and I kept doing the flip flop thing and eventually decided not to sell him. We bought a wireless fence and that's been a life saver. He can now spend his days outside when he's driving us crazy. We are hoping he settles down with age and stops chewing soon.
We had a fun New Years Eve party with some friends. We played lots of games and ate yummy food.
