Bridger at 6 weeks, 8 weeks and 2 months

Oh this baby!  He is so incredibly loved.  I just can't stop taking pictures and videos of him.  Pictures just don't do him justice of how cute and sweet he really is.  This blog post is all things Bridger.

6 weeks old.  He often gets startled in his sleep and will throw his hands in the air and freeze like that for a while.  It's pretty cute.

6 weeks old - He's really starting to chunk out at this point.

He is mesmorized by the blinds.  Every single time I lay him down to change his diaper he freezes at the sight of blinds.  He must love the dark and light contrast or something but he will just sit and stare at them. It stops him in his tracks every time.

  Look at that precious face.

His sisters just adore him

By 8 weeks old he started just getting plain old chubby.  He gained about a pound a week starting at 4 weeks up until about 3 months.

Here he is at 2 months old.  He finally started to smile at us regularly and it is the cutest thing ever.  I love new baby smiles.  He is doing much better with sleeping.  I put him down around 10:00 and he will sleep until 4:00 or so.  Then usually he will last until 7:00 when I wake up but sometimes he'll wake up around 6:30 to eat again.  He nurses quickly and goes right back to sleep.  I can't complain.
2 month stats:
14 lbs. 9 ounces (91%)
23.75 inches (81%)
Head: 40.5 cm (86%)

His profile gets me every time.  Look at that perfect little profile.  Could he be any cuter?  I think not.

Baby smiles are the best!

Carson and Bridger at 2 months old.  Any resemblance?

I love this little man more than words can express.  I use the term euphoria when I think about how I feel for him.  I sit here and snuggle him and just feel so happy and content and at peace.  I wish he could stay little forever.  I love having a newborn of my own in my arms.  It's so hard for me to accept that my childbearing years are done (atleast we are pretty sure).  I can't imagine life without a baby. I have held him for a good portion of his life.  I can't stand for him to not be held.  Time goes by so fast and I just want to hold him as much as possible before he won't let me hold him anymore.

Dylan Dayley and Bridger.  Their first picture together.  Dylan is 2.5 weeks younger than Bridger but our due dates were only 2 days apart.   These boys will grow up together.

There is just nothing better than a baby at Christmas time.  I took so many pictures of him by the tree.  It just felt so magical.  It really puts things into perspective while celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.  I thought a lot about Mary and baby Jesus this Christmas season as I held my own sweet babe.
