Pardon these 80 year old looking legs. Yep, those are mine. I feel pretty icky because of these legs, wouldn't you too? Bless the heavens for compression stockings, they save me from a lot of pain and they also hide my veins so I don't cry every time I look at my legs. They get worse while I'm pregnant, but they always look pretty gross. I took these pictures a couple weeks ago. It makes me wonder how I'll ever be able to survive this pregnancy if they are already this bad. I plan to have them surgically removed next year. I have to plan it for winter because wearing compression stockings would not be fun in the summertime. I think this pregnancy will be great timing, because I won't have to wear the stockings in the summertime.
I hate Varicose Veins. Seeing these pictures made me SO SO glad our cruise got cancelled at the end of January. No way in heck am I getting in a swimsuit with legs that look like these.

I had a massive vc vein on my leg during my pregnancy too. It's crazy but I can still feel the blood in that vein moving through- kind of creepy.

I feel so bad for you with that vein. Glad you posted it though, someday your kids will appreciate your sacrifice to get them here:-)

Owie! I have some veins too - I hate them! Let me know how the surgery goes because I'm seriously considering it as well.
My sis in law had the surgery to get her veins stripped... she said it was painful but very worth it... Sorry you have to deal with that pain! Pregnancy is hard enough as it is.
