How cute is she?

I came home from my sewing class tonight and Kent told me that Maleah had written her primary talk for Sunday.  The theme was something to do with the scriptures.   He said she did it all on her own, he didn't help even once, and she even chose pictures from our gospel art kit to go along with it.  I cried just a little when I read it, and realized that she really is learning something and although it may feel like our teaching goes in one ear and out the other, she is gaining a testimony of her very own.

Here is Maleah's primary talk word for word:

"The scriptures are really important and also part of Heavenly Fathers plan.  If we read the scriptures we will return to the celestial kingdom.  Other steps to the Celestial Kingdom are to get baptized, go on a mission and choose the right.  In Moses 1:39, it says The scriptures are part of Heavenly Fathers plan.  Heavenly Father wants to be happy about his plan and he wants us to be happy about his plan.  Scriptures can be like a dictionary.  If you know words or if you don't know words you can look them up in a dictionary.  If you want to know about Jesus you look in the scriptures.  Scriptures can teach us and it can help us and guide us.  The scriptures can be boring to read, but they are very important.  I myself don't like to read the scriptures but I know it is part of Heavenly Fathers plan and I want to return to him so I know that I should keep the commandments and choose the right and I will return to Christ and I want to know what the Celestial Kingdom looks like and how peaceful it is, so I will read the scriptures.  I know that little kids can't read, but have your parents read for you, it's more important then you think it is.  I know that Heavenly Father's Plan is going to work like we all think it is and I myself like his plan alot so I'm going to do what I have to do to live with him.   I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen."

I'm pretty sure that's the cutest little talk I've ever read.  I just love that girl and her little brain.
