So In Love

I am so in Love with this baby boy.  Being home bound is so fun.  I was a little depressed about it at first, but now I don't want it to end.  It's given me the chance to just take it easy and hold my baby.  I get to snuggle him all day long, and life has been at a much slower pace for us.  If I could pause life right now I would do it in a second.  There is just no sweeter feeling then to have my new baby in my arms.   I don't want to forget him as a newborn and this sweet time.  I know all too well how fast they grow up and the memories fade.  I'm trying to cherish every minute as well as take a ton of pictures to capture his sweet little face.

Sweet boy - 3 weeks old already

His oxygen was off because we were just starting his first 12 hour sleep study with no oxygen.  He lasted about 4 hours and just couldn't keep his saturation levels where they were supposed to be, so we had to put it back on.  We will probably try again in a week or so.

He looks so  much like me in this picture below.  I'm pretty sure I have a baby picture that looks almost identical to this.  It's looking like he will have big blue eyes.

He is such a good little baby.  He sleeps probably 20 hours in a 24 hour period.  He is my gassiest, burpiest baby.  He grunts and toots and burps all day and night long.  He doesn't cry about it, he just grunts alot.  He seems very good natured and content.

 The beginning of the 12 hour test with no oxygen.  He looks so big in this picture.  My guess would be that he is around 8 pounds now.  He was 7 pounds 10 ounces at 20 days old.  He's putting on weight fast.  He eats ALOT!
