10 Years!

This post is long overdue.  Kent and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary on May 5th.  It was a big anniversary.  10 years!!   I wish I could say we did something spectacular, but we were in survival mode that day.  Carson was in the NICU, so we spent the day and evening together at the hospital with our new son.  Kent has been an absolute life saver to me.....literally.  I would not survive life without him. The last couple of months, he has really stepped up and taken on a Mr. Mom role.  He's always super helpful and a wonderful husband, but he's been over the top amazing to me through this pregnancy and birth of Carson.  He puts the kids to bed every night, he cooks dinner, he lets me sleep in and take naps when I need them.  He took on the Laundry when Carson was born and kept up on it better then I do.  He insists that I go lay down and rest, he keeps the house clean, the kids fed and clean, he fixes the girls hair, he helps with homework, runs them to and from school etc.... on top of all this, he goes to work everyday and provides for our family, and he also keeps our yard beautiful.  I could go on and on.  The guy is just amazing.  I've always known I was a lucky girl, but he really has just blown me away the last couple of months.  He never complains and loves me unconditionally.  How did I get so lucky.  It's been a wonderful 10 years,  Kent is perfect for me and is truly my best friend.  I'm so happy that he's mine for eternity!
