Paris Idaho / Bear Lake

We went camping in Paris Idaho, right by Bear Lake for the Wall family reunion this year.  I forget how much I love camping.  However, it's so much work to get packed, I just can't handle it more then once or twice a year.  The kids love it so much, and Carson did excellent.  He slept really well the 2nd night, I think better then he ever has.

Right after we arrived.   Aunt Patty and the kids.

Happy Campers!

He looked so adorable and snuggly in his warm jammies and hat.

Kendra roasting starbursts, she is a pyro.  We couldn't keep her away from the fire.

Dad and Carson

Kendra all cozy and ready for bed in the tent trailer.

I sure love having a tent trailer.  Warm water to wash hands, a fridge to keep food cold, a toilet, a heater.  It is so cozy inside and makes camping so enjoyable.

We spend one day down at Bear Lake.  There is nothing like Bear Lake beaches.  I wish we lived closer.
Aubree helped bury my cousin Barrett

Shayla catching some sun

After seeing Barrett get buried, all my girls had to do it to.

Kayaking is pretty fun

My kids could play in the sand all day

There was a little rope swing that went over a little stream by our campground.  It was a hit with the kids.

We stayed in Paris Springs Campground, and there was a short little hike to Paris Springs.  It was a raging river, but was coming out of a spring.  It was so beautiful, I couldn't get over how pretty it was.

There is also an ice cave nearby that we took the girls to one night.

Carson looked so cozy in his little bed.  This is where he slept.  I was worried about keeping him warm, but he did great and stayed nice and toasty.  He has the best little temprement.  He rarely cries and just goes with the flow.

On the last day we went for a hike to Bloomington lake.  It's a little lake tucked back in the mountain. It's so beautiful.   There is a big rope swing over the lake.  I never in a million years thought any of my kids would do it, but little Aubree is a dare devil.  I would say it's about a 20 foot drop, not to mention the water is FREEZING!
