Eggett Happenings: January 2016

Oh my little man. I have enjoyed every second with this little guy. He is the sweetest, most smiliest, cutest baby ever. He is SO incredibly loved and I just cannot get enough of him. All of the kids adore him and run in the door from school to hold him. They are the best little Mommy's. Bridger is the biggest chunk. He has grown so quickly, faster than any of my other babies. He is a good 3 pounds heavier than any of my other kids were at this age. He hates his car seat and he doesn't sleep well at night. He's walking up 3-4 times a night still and sleeps best in my arms. He's a little bit spoiled because we pretty much hold him all the time and he gets super upset when we put him down. I'm not complaining because I know this time is so short when they will just snuggle all day. I'm trying to hold him and snuggle him as much as possible because time flies. I love being a more experienced baby Momma. I don't sweat the small stuff and truly treasure this little guy. I realize how fast they grow up and how important it is to savor the moment. Having a new baby in the house is my absolute FAVORITE!!!

3 1/2 months old

Anytime I put him in this snuggly outfit he sleeps all day long. He's just so cozy in it.

4 month Birthday

I thought this was the start of him rolling over. He was turning to his side around 4 months old. Little did I know that 3 months later (at 7 months old) he still wouldn't be rolling. He's just too chubby to get himself up off the ground.

You know those sweet moments when you realize just how lucky you are? This was one of those. Bridger's sleeping habits are not the greatest. I've been very sleep deprived since he was born. That is hard. This particular Sunday morning I had pulled Bridger into bed with me. After a long week of bad sleeping he had slept pretty good the night before and slept in until 9 a.m. Kent let me sleep in and got up with the other kids. I was so refreshed, so emotional, so happy and so grateful as this little guy snuggled and looked up at me. I just can't believe how lucky I am to have 5 beautiful children that call me Mom. I'm SO SO blessed.

Maleah is my right hand gal. She seriously saves me. I have to do so much running around, taking kids to lessons and games, practices etc... not to mention homework, cooking, cleaning etc.. she is amazing with Bridger and she adores him and is always willing to hold him. I so appreciate her!

This was Bridger's very first real bath. I learned a good lesson to not put a wild 4 year old in the bath with a new baby. He was splashing all over and it was not a peaceful thing for Bridger. Sure made for some cute pictures though.

Carson 4, Aubree 10, Bridger 3 months

Trying out the Bumbo seat. His legs are so fat that I have to squish them down in, and then when I pick him up the Bumbo comes with him. He also has a hard time holding that big ol' noggin up.

3 1/2 months

Bridger's first big bath all by himself. He loved it. 3 1/2 months old.

First BYU Basketball game for everyone

Our neighbors have a skating rink and luge they set up during the winter. The kids went over a few times to skate and sled. Maleah took her friends one time too.

Aubree and Kendra started Junior Jazz basketball in January. I love watching them play.

Kendra is my ponytail girl. She wears her hair in a ponytail pretty much every day. She let me put gel in it and diffuse it 2 days in a row and she looked so cute. It didn't last long though, she went right back to a ponytail.

Kendra thought she was the bees knees pushing her little brother around in a mini cart at smiths. The girls love to show off their baby brother whenever they can.

My Mom took Maleah and Jayda to Saint George in January. She took some photos of them. Pretty girls.

Maleah is multitasking like a boss. Holding Bridger, playing on her phone, watching the biggest loser and doing homework. She's going to be a great mom someday.

We had a party at my Moms after Bridger's blessing. Since everyone was in town, this was our Christmas celebration together. Caroline and Bridger were not cooperating very well at all :)
